THIS IS A PROJECT.
Once upon a time I was a hair accessory designer. I sold my pieces to you, the happy headband wearers.
Things have changed.
We live in a world where we are spending frivolous dollars fewer and fewer. Times have changed and so have I. Welcome to the new FROLIC. I create appendages for the head—appendages made only from found objects or things I already own, I spend no money and neither do you. These pieces—labors of my artistic licence are then offered to you, creative people in the same society I am living in.
Write me an e-mail (caroline@wearfrolic.com) and I will send you one of these head pieces, free to you, as long as you promise me one thing: you’ll document your journey with it and return the evidence to me. This is about us working together as a creative society—about making the most of what we can do and how we are inspired.
